Super(hero) Power!

Water bending is definitely awesome, and manipulation of water too,
of course.. freeze, liquify, evaporate.

I'm a fan of the original Avatar: The Last Air Bender the animated series. I haven't watched the new one series though.. I bet it can't top the first one =P

P.S. I think this is the last update I have for the week. If I decide to color-in (with color pencils.. I'm old-fashioned/out-dated) any, I'll update them.

Cartool

Draw thyself as a tool that reflectest thyself. T'is lad darest mock me.
I often skip sleep during normal-people's hours of rest, staying awake 24hrs at a time and then sleeping 10+ hours. And I'm an old-fashioned kind of person, so old-fashioned night lamp it is!

I also eat a lot of rice; I can probably survive eating just rice and soy sauce alone, lol. So I've considered a rice cooker, because I am a rice bucket. 我是一個飯桶^-^

Theee Siiimpsoooonsss

Myself as the a Simpsons character. Can't forget my trusty hoodie! (it looks more like the jacket from Top Gun, though lol)

Rubber Hose

Spaghetti for you! And meatball below.

Self-Portrait

Self-portait, 'nuff said. Lol. My caricature version of this is quite similar, so I'm just posting this.

Tex Avery

Tex Avery - a style of animation that exaggerates a character's expression using outstretched tongues, dropped-to-the-ground jaw, popping out eyes, etc.

(semi-)popping out eyes, tongue sticking out, fuming ears, popping neck veins.. yes, sir! With a bonus of a flying shoes.

P.S. that's a meaball, btw. le spicy meat-a-bol!

Valentines Cupid

Finally got to getting my previous work scanned in class. So here they come!

To get into the Valentines spirit, for lonely people like me, we were to draw ourselves as a cupid or lovebug, with a touch of cutesie-ness. Although the face isn't shown, I think my picture reflects me, not that I'm crying ALONE FOREVER!! lol.

3D Animation: walking cycle

My walking cycle for my 3D Animation class., using R. William's basic walking cycle guideline. Not perfected yet.

I followed weight catch and angle of the leg, etc. accordingly, but it makes the walk seem like an angry series of steps as opposed to a bouncy/leisurely cartoon walk. I think part of the reason is because the back is tilted too much forward.. and the shoulders should be more playful. Not supposed to be a realistic, regular-basis walk.

Peanuts

Oh, here is the picture I drew in the Peanuts comic style.
More coming after Spring break, when I can get a hold of a better scanner.

Sack 360

Not sure how to upload a looping vid or .swf file; I don't think the latter is possible with Blogger. I may ink my character, will update this when I can.

100 Heads

First eight heads, put my life on the line drawing them at a local library. Drawing and worrying if someone calls out on me and/or beats me up, haha. Fun experience (not the beaten up part); I've got to do this more often. Most of the people were reading and looking down; they weren't asleep. The guy at the center walked off on me..

Home scanner isn't ideal for scanning from sketchbooks, unfortunately. Ok, 92 more heads to go.
