thought of updating my old post via editing, but the outlining and coloring (without shading) were such milestones for me, the character turn deserves a new post :) If I ever get to adding lighting to it, I'll edit the post.

Upcoming, Walking Cycle

Here's a character concept. She doesn't have a name yet, and she'll be trained to walk, and eventually do more. This is only a rough sketch, to be refined further over time. Inspired by Mirror's Edge.

Chris Sanders

Chris Sanders is the animation director of Lilo & Stitch, and most recently, The Croods. Here's a quick attempt at imitating his AWESOME style. I think the legs need to be longer.. or rather, it's disproportionate - something I'm encountering with my 3D model too due to the unclear middle line of the body. But I'm content with the drawing overall.

P.S. still have a long queue of sketches to post, but I'm trying to make time and finalize them further x.x
